Have you noticed that your typical white heels with a bridal gown don't cut it anymore? Of course, you can still wear them but WHY when there are so many fun options out there to choose from. Brides are choosing a shoe that screams "ME". So go for it. Find a shoe that you love. Go for a bright heel, platform, flip flop, or splurge and get those Manalo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo's you've been dying to get! Believe me, if nothing else they'll make a perfect photo op that you don't want to miss out on.
